These prints of decorative panelling appear to have been completed at the same time as Chauveau’s engravings of the doors and other ornamental details in the Tuileries (c.1667-71): see Chauveau Grand Apartment of the Tuileries Palace 1710 {1879} NGV [PR] [Levey gift, cat.66-78].
All four prints in this group are titled identically, and inscribed “Le Moine del.et sculps.”
Little appears to be known about the engraver (called either Lemoyne or Lemoine).
