Further information is obviously needed to identify this work, apparently identical with an anonymous drawing recorded as “Figures” in the unpublished list of the NGV’s pre-1905 accessions for 1873 (NGV acc.no.p.166.137-1).

Nothing in the current collections of the NGV or SLV seems to correlate, although the NGV holds various prints and drawings by and after Salvator Rosa (1615-73), acquired after 1905.
